One Knoxville SC is a USL League One professional soccer club dedicated to delivering an exciting and memorable matchday experience. For our 2025 season at Covenant Health Park, we are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Merchandise Team as Retail Store Associates.
Job Summary
As a Merchandise/Retail Store Associate, you will be responsible for managing the team store on matchdays and other events. Your role will include assisting customers, processing transactions, restocking inventory, and ensuring a smooth retail experience for all fans.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in the team store with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Process sales transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash and card payments accurately.
- Answer customer questions about merchandise, pricing, and promotions.
- Restock and organize inventory to maintain a clean and visually appealing store.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to management.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down merchandise displays on matchdays.
- Maintain a secure and organized checkout area.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous retail, customer service, or cashier experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak matchday hours.
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash/card transactions.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light physical tasks (e.g., stocking merchandise).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends based on the match schedule.
