One Life at a Time is a new PHP/IOP Day Treatment Program, providing compassionate and competent SUD support services along with Case Management and Mental health/Co-occurring disorder's weekly counseling for participants. One Life at a Time is wholly committed to its mission meeting clients "where they are" on their recovery journey and empowering them to achieve long-term self-efficiency.
Job Overview: We are looking to hire 2 Clinicians on a part time and/or full-time basis, who has experience with a PHP/IOP program, group facilitation and Co-Occurring disorders counseling. The clinician must have familiarity and/or experience within the Substance Use field. The clinician will have an assigned caseload of no more than 8-12 clients. Family therapy will be required as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Group Facilitation
- Conducting weekly Indidvdual therapy sessions
- Must be able to utilize EHR (Kipu) system to input and maintain client records in compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.
- Complete Intake Assessments as needed.
- Complete on-going assessments ie., GAD, PHQ9, SBQ-R, etc ... as required.
- Manage a caseload of 8-12 clients.
- Complete Progress Notes, Group Notes and Treatment Plans for assigned clients within expected timeframes.
- Must have knowledge of the 12 Steps of Recovery
- Maintain collateral contact and/or provide referral coordination of all required/suggested treatment services either directly by the program or through Qualified Service Organizations, Business Associate Agreement, or other applicable agreements regarding specific clients with other staff, relatives, and appropriate representatives of other agencies, including social service agencies, housing authorities, health care providers and vocational services.
- Clinician will plan for client's completion of treatment, and/or the identification of transitional, and aftercare supports the client.
- Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings, supervision, and related professional development sessions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or LADC II
- "Preferred" -Master’s degree in a Behavior Health field and/or a LADC1, LCSW, LICSW or LMHC
- Minimum of two years’ experience in substance use and behavioral health working with people with Co-occurring Disorders.
- Experience with group facilitation.
- Experience with DBT/CBT a plus.
- Knowledge of modality specific issues, such as substance abuse, homelessness, trauma, and co-occurring disorders.
- Must be knowledgeable with the Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patient Record (Title 42CFR-Part 2)
Other Qualifications:
- Dynamic and enthusiastic personality.
- Experience with start-ups is a great PLUS.
