TheOpportunity
As a flex Member Support Specialist(Medical Receptionist) you will be an ambassador for patients inoffice, with a mastery of human connection and a strong drive forservice.
You will remove barriers to care, resulting in a trulyexceptional in-office patient experience. You are the steward ofthe space and ensure the look and feel of the office lobby are onbrand with the One Medical experience.
You will be the first pointof contact for patient feedback, as well as provide any othersupport as requested by the Leads, Office Manager, or in officeproviders.
Our Flex Member Support Specialists support multipleoffices in a Market.

What you'll likely workon :
- Use impeccableC-I-CARE (a framework containing the key elements of a greatinteraction and effective communication that we use with patientsand each other) in all patient interactions and ensure a fluid andpositive in-office experience through patient intake, same dayschedule management, appropriate follow up scheduling, strongknowledge of billing and insurance, monitoring patient feedback andassisting with outreach as necessary
- All front of house duties including check in / check out,insurance verification, printing / paperwork tasks, prepping tests,tasking to service level expectations etc
- Contribute to team development through rounding, attendingteam huddles, participating in team problem solving, supporting inoffice providers with ad hoc asks,etc.
- Master ourtechnology suite including but not limited to Slack, G-suite, Zoom,and our Electronic Medical Record System 1Life, in order tointeract with team members and patients and complete dailywork
- Perform opening andclosing duties / daily office upkeep as required, includingmaintaining the look and feel of both patient and employee facingspaces, restocking supplies, andorganization

What you’ll need :
- At least 1 year of experience in hightouch customer or patient facingroles
- Strong written and verbal communicationskills
- Experience workingon collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinaryteams
- A proven trackrecord of persisting through change, demonstrating a forwardthinking perspective when under pressure, and consistently steppingup to take action on challenges
- Proficiency in computer technology such as typing,navigating the internet and using multiple software systemssimultaneously

This is a full-time role (Monday throughFriday 7 : 30AM - 5 : 00PM) based in-person with our team and patientsat our office in El Segundo, CA.
Our Flex Member Support Specialists lendsupport to multiple One Medical locations in a market. Officelocation and schedules are subject tochange.
Physical Demands : Mostlysedentary work duties require exerting up to ten pounds of forceoccasionally and / or small amounts of force frequently.
Sedentarywork typically involves sitting most of the time, but may involvewalking or standing for briefperiods.
