JOB SUMMARY
The Initiatives Coordinator provides comprehensive church and community development services in support of One More Child. Through relationships and project management, the coordinator actively supports partners who want to engage in One More Child’s Initiatives by coordinating, managing, and executing projects related to those initiatives. This position travels throughout the United States, up to fifty percent of the time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
- Operate alongside other Initiatives staff to ensure excellent experiences for all community partners.
- Build effective working relationships, internally and externally.
- Regularly research and evaluate partner feedback to systematically determine the best practices and suggestions for program development.
- Responsible for following up with inquiries, leading meetings, securing partnerships, coordinating supplies, and leading events.
- Maintain allotted budget, prepare expense reports, and monitor and plan for grant utilization.
- Coordinate and manage systems to maintain records and metrics.
- Ability to solve daily problems by analyzing situations, determining appropriate next steps, and implementing the plan accordingly.
- Purchase and maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring supplies for all events are ordered and arrive on time.
- Responsible for a key role in the creative planning, coordination, and execution of national training events.
- Collect monthly stories and metrics from partners and prepare comprehensive monthly reports.
- Maintain consistent and accurate records of partnership communication, activity, and status in applicable databases.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the Director of Initiatives.

Job functions are performed in a normal office environment, or in building settings when coordinating volunteer work. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and travel throughout the region, up to 50 percent.
