Air Duct Cleaning/Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completing scheduled work orders in a timely fashion, in a detail oriented and professional manner. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with clients/public personnel. Day to day tasks include servicing and cleaning of HVAC/Dryer vents per industry standards. Troubleshoot issues, repair and/or de-escalate work order related issues. Safely operate and/or maintain equipment within OSHA guidelines. Cross train with internal maintenance team. Adopt/train on in-house software, providing customer service team with detailed automated reports.
Responsibilities for Air Duct Cleaner/Maintenance Technician

- Manage assigned calendar, preparing for the work day in all aspects
- Maintain assigned company truck clean and properly stocked for scheduled services (supplies, keys, tools)
- High level of responsiveness to instructions and assignments
- Functions well with minimum supervision
- Proper and safe use of warehouse resources, tools, and supplies
- Generates collaborative ideas to troubleshoot on the spot
- Provide a helpful hand & collaborative effort when working with others
- Responds to client/coordinator feedback in a respectful & timely manner
- Accurately informs assigned account coordinator of any changes to Work Order scope
- Complete scheduled Work Orders with a high degree of detail and communication
- Post Work Order completion: accurately completes automated Service Reports for customer service team to describe completed tasks
- Provide feedback to Supervisor on Work Orders, operations, client interaction, daily efficiency, possible changes, scheduling, or time management
Requirements
- Valid CT Driver’s License
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 plus years of related work experience
- Experience with hand tools (drills, screw drivers, etc.)
- Experience in Construction, Facility Maintenance or Customer Service industry preferred
- Experience in HVAC systems
- Experience in HVAC & Dryer vent cleaning
- Health & Safety certificates and other building maintenance certifications a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
