What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deep Water Lifeguard position at One Stop Aquatic Safety LLC?
Perform lifeguard surveillance of the pool area. Provide services for large groups, including children, monitoring both visually and audibly to insure safety, facility rules and health standards. Duties include, but are not limited to, enforcing rules and regulations governing use of facilities, preventing injury or loss of life, and administering first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation as necessary. Lifeguards are responsible for assisting with routine aquatic maintenance and custodial duties and other tasks as assigned by supervisors. Work schedules will vary. The job location will be in Homestead/FL.
Lifeguard requirements:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must hold current American Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR certifications (Training and Certification courses available)
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies
- Must carry out the duties, direction, and assignment as requested by the Lead Lifeguard/Supervisor.
- Must be able to work weekends and public holidays as needed.
- Must be able to perform lifeguard pre-requisites (5oo-meter swim, 5 minutes treading water)
