Key Responsibilities
- Oversee water safety during production shoots involving pools, beaches, and other aquatic environments.
- Remain vigilant during filming to prevent incidents and ensure safe water practices.
- Responded immediately to water-related emergencies, including rescues and first-aid for minor injuries (e.g., cuts, scrapes, stings).
- Maintain and bring the required safety gear to the set, including a lifeguard-red rescue tube and basic first-aid supplies.
- Collaborate with production teams and Set Medics to assess risks, enforce safety protocols, and support scene planning.
- Document and report any incidents according to company policy and industry standards.
- Support general on-set health and safety guidance (hydration, sun exposure, etc.).
- Valid Lifeguard Certification, including CPR and First Aid.
- EMT or higher medical certification is a plus, but not required.
- Minimum 2 years of water safety or lifeguarding experience
- Previous work on film/TV sets or events is a strong plus.
- Must be professional, alert, and focused during long observation periods.
