Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Fleet Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our vehicle fleet operations, including people management, vehicle maintenance, inventory management, fleet support for DOT trucks, and maintaining strong customer relations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cars and trucks, bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the company's vehicle fleet, including scheduling, maintenance, and repairs.
• Maintain accurate driver information in TMS, ETA’s, PTA’s, RDO’s, Time Off Requests, etc.
• Supervise fleet staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective performance.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage inventory of vehicle parts and supplies, coordinating with vendors for replenishment as needed.
• Provide fleet support for DOT trucks, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintenance requirements.
• Act as a liaison between the fleet department and other departments within the company.
• Maintain strong customer relations, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of fleet-related activities and expenses.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fleet management, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• In-depth knowledge of cars and trucks, including maintenance and repair procedures.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and experience with fleet support for DOT trucks is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet management software.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• 1-2 years of dispatch/driver management experience preferred.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

Compensation: Commensurate with Experience
