Overview: One Stop Property Maintenance LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced First-Line Supervisor of Landscaping to lead our landscaping team and ensure high-quality service delivery to our clients. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the landscaping crew, manage schedules, maintain safety standards, and ensure all landscaping projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and manage a team of landscaping workers, including planning and assigning tasks for crew members.
- Monitor work progress and ensure projects meet client expectations and company quality standards.
- Plan and schedule daily and weekly tasks for the crew, considering priorities and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and conduct regular safety meetings.
- Inspect work sites to ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to project specifications.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and materials, and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Provide training and guidance to crew members on best practices and efficient techniques.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns.
- Keep accurate records of work orders, schedules, and employee performance.
- Collaborate with management to plan and estimate project costs and budgets.
- Evaluate crew performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or degrees in landscaping, integrated pest management, or horticulture preferred.
- Proven experience in landscaping and supervising a team of workers.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping practices, equipment, and materials.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
