Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that their orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and teas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, kitchen and dining areas to ensure a pleasant experience for customers.
- Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation and service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food service best practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory levels.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service and build rapport with patrons.
- Previous experience in retail or food service is preferred but not required.
- A genuine passion for coffee and helping others enjoy their experience is essential.
