Summary
The Business Services Support Specialist will provide service to business members, assisting with banking inquiries, account opening, and helping navigate various banking processes. Provide business members timely and accurate information, look for opportunities to deepen business member relationships, and will be the main point-of-contact for troubleshooting account issues. The Business Services Support Specialist is an expert in our business products and services, as well as our technology platforms, and uses that knowledge and experience to ensure an outstanding member experience and uncover new sales opportunities.
Essential Functions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business members, addressing their banking inquiries, providing guidance, and resolving issues related to their accounts.
- Support business members with managing business accounts, including checking, savings, loans, and other business-related services. Assist with account updates, changes, payments, research, and maintenance.
- While providing excellent service and projecting professionalism, virtually assist retail branch staff in the business account opening process by providing guidance on required documentation, account types, and ensuring smooth onboarding of new business members.
- Provide clear and straightforward explanations of OneAZ's products and services to clients, ensuring they understand how to best use them.
- Using an outstanding knowledge of OneAZ's business and consumer products and services, actively work to uncover opportunities to deepen member relationships and pass on potential sales opportunities to the appropriate partners.
- Proactively identify and resolve business member concerns or issues, providing solutions and ensuring member satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to address complex problems and see them through to complete resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, account changes, and service requests. Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all client interactions and transactions adhere to regulatory and bank policies, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) standards.
- Serve in a quality control function, ensuring business accounts were opened appropriately and in compliance with all internal and regulatory requirements. Identify accounts with discrepancies and work with the members to resolve the issues.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with clients to ensure their banking needs are met and offer additional support as needed.

Education
H.S. Diploma Required
Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience
1-3 years similar or related experience in customer service or banking.
Experience in a service-focused role preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and problem-solving.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Proficiency with banking software and systems and Microsoft Office.
Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations and provide timely solutions.
Strong commitment to following through on issues to resolution.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage client requests efficiently.
