realm. This is a hybrid role, with expectation to work 3 days/week in our Indianapolis-
area office, and 2 days/week remotely. This role places you at the forefront of our

About the Role:
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in our revenue
growth strategy by researching and connecting with nonprofits through outbound
outreach. You’ll help to uncover the challenges they face in their fundraising processes
and set the stage for meaningful partnerships.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Drive Pipeline Growth: Initiate meaningful conversations by engaging with prospects via consistent phone, email, and social media outreach. Many of these activities will utilize proven cold-calling strategies nitiate Meaningful Conversations: Outbound SDRs will have between 60-80 engaging cold calls daily to build a robust pipeline and create opportunities.
- Leverage Cutting-Edge Technology: Utilize our tech stack to enhance your outreach, following up calls with personalized emails
- Schedule High-Quality Meetings: Qualify prospects and schedule discovery conversations for our Account Executives.
- Territory Ownership: Take ownership of your designated territory, establishing a pipeline for sustained long-term success.
- Solution Seeker: Identify the unique needs of prospects and determine if they are willing to invest time and resources to address their challenges.
What you already know and skills you bring:
- Curiosity and Insight: A genuine listener with innate curiosity and insightful questioning abilities.
- Tenacity: Ability to stay optimistic in the face of rejection, be consistent in daily activity, and driven to exceed monthly & quarterly goals.
- Sales Proficiency: Proficient in a specific sales methodology and open to embracing and expanding your skills with us.
- Persona-Driven Expertise: Experience with persona-driven or account-based selling.
- Tech Mastery: Proficiency in using tech tools and analysis, including Salesforce reporting and Excel.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills, vital for our team-oriented work environment.
Bonus Points if You Have: Extra credit if you have experience or exposure to:
- Go-to-Market Diversity: Familiarity with various go-to-market models, from Product-Led Growth to Sales 2.0 to Enterprise Sales.
- Nonprofit Insights: Previous experience in the nonprofit industry (employed or volunteer), showing your knowledge and commitment to making a difference in this sector.
