The Opportunity
The Vice President of Finance (VP) will drive OneClick's financial strategy, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation. The VP will serve as a strategic partner to the executive team and board of directors, overseeing all financial, accounting, and operational analysis functions. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to shape the financial future of a high-growth, VC-backed technology.
This individual will play a key role in building and developing their team to support the company’s growth and transformation. Currently, there is only a contractor that oversees accounting functions and other financial responsibilities. However, this is temporary and will conclude based on the VP of Finance’s assessment of the team’s short and long-term needs. OneClick is also recruiting for a Director of Data Operations who will lead our data engineering, modeling, and analytics initiatives and will report to the VP of Finance.
Position Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Partner with the CEO and board to set financial goals aligned with the Company’s strategic vision.
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring adherence to financial targets and strategic priorities.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support key business decisions, including product development, pricing, and market expansion.
FINANCIAL REPORTING AND COMPLIANCE
- Oversee the preparation of accurate, GAAP-compliant financial statements, ensuring timely month-end and year-end closes (current close by the 10th of each month).
- Develop and refine board packages, presenting clear and actionable financial updates quarterly.
- Prepare for and lead audit processes as the Company evolves, ensuring financial rigor and compliance.
OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
- Implement financial controls and processes to enhance cash management, forecasting, and payables oversight.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales to align financial metrics with operational goals and ensure profitability across product lines.
- Evaluate and enhance the Company’s billing processes, reducing manual inputs and increasing efficiency.
FINANCIAL OPERATIONS AND ANALYSIS
- Manage treasury operations, including potential implementation of cash flow forecasting tools.
- Lead pricing analysis for current and future products, ensuring alignment with revenue and margin objectives.
- Partner with the sales team to evaluate pipeline health, backlog, and customer trends.
Professional Background
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, and a CPA designation is a plus but not required.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a strategic leadership role.
- Proven track record as a senior financial leader in high-growth, entrepreneurial, technology-driven environments.
- Experience in SaaS, software, or technology industries is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and proficiency in Excel; experience integrating BI tools is a plus.
Compensation: OneClick Code offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary ranging from $170,000-$200,000, annual discretionary cash bonus, and equity.
Benefits: OneClick code offers unlimited PTO. While we currently do not offer medical, dental or vision, we can offer a reimbursement program to help offset medical expenses for those who require health related coverage. We are currently assessing benefits options for our employees and will have options available in the near future.
