Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
- Administer employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires have a smooth transition.
- Maintain employee HR and Payroll records, ensuring all HR-related documents are up-to-date and compliant with regulations. Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment, tracking eligibility, and responding to employee inquiries.
- Support performance management and employee training processes, including assignment of performance reviews and training modules, and tracking of completion.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, assisting with audits and ensuring adherence to policies.
- Provide general HR support, such as employee inquiries and troubleshooting HR-related issues.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and/or uniform inventory, ordering as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Coordinate internal meetings, events, and employee engagement activities.
- Support HR leadership with report generation, HR metrics, and data entry.
- Manage office administrative tasks, such as filing, documentation, and ensuring office procedures are followed.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role.
- Knowledge of HR policies, employee relations, and relevant labor laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and positive attitude.
- Experience with recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Experience with HR software and tools (e.g., BambooHR, ADP, etc.).
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
