Skills And Experience
We’re looking for people with good interpersonal skills, who enjoy working on a variety of projects within a delivery focused, agile environment.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues in order to meet users’ needs
- Debugging a complex, multi-server service in a high availability environment
- Using languages such as Ruby, Python, Go, and Java within an existing, production codebase
- Using configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, etc.
- Administering common open source databases like MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB etc.
- Familiarity with network protocols – TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, etc.
- Understanding of application deployment strategies, continuous integration and version control
- Comfortable with automated testing
- Building and configuring new server platforms and the automated tooling to do so
- Operational management of Linux servers, delivering a complex web application stack
