What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator/Material Handler position at Oneida Business Enterprises Inc?
Responsibilities as follows,
- cleanliness and organization skills is a must
- Some computer skills such as excel, word ect.
- Ability to work in cold/ hot conditions year around and up to 8 hours. ( possible overtime in future )
- Ability to operate forklifts of any kind , with training .
- Ability to make decisions based on certain situations.
- Ability to safely unload & load trucks and trailers without damaging equipment or material.
- When rigging is applicable, to successfully help crane operator & crew to unload/load rail cars .
- To listen to instructions given by manager or leads and the ability to catch on fast.
- Reliable transportation / must have a driver's license.
- Ability to maintain good work ethic and attendance .
- Ability to perform manual labor tasks that come about.
- In downtime, must show ability to stay busy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
