What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Highway Worker position at Oneida County?
Oneida County Highway Department is looking for several individuals to fill Summer Highway Worker LTE (Limited Term Employment) positions. Job duties include performing flag work, cutting grass, assisting the Highway Operators and other duties as needed. No previous experience required and good training provided. These positions go from May to late August, with starting and ending dates being flexible. Position works Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The 2025 wage for these positions is $18.13 per hour.
Qualified individuals must be at least 18 years old, have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, good driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
