Description
Oneida Health is currently seeking a full-time Nurse Manager RN to join our growing team at the Oneida Health Rehabilitation and Extended Care Facility. This is supervisory role involving responsibility for maintaining high standards of professional nursing services in the management of a clinical unit, special unit or ward. The work is performed under general supervision with latitude for instructing, planning and making assignments to subordinates.

What You’ll be Great At:
- Assessing patient nursing care needs and preparing appropriate nursing care plans for designated unit(s).
- Maintaining accurate and descriptive records of the medical treatment and nursing care of patients.
- Checking physicians’ orders, medication cards, and charts to ensure prompt and accurate execution of orders.
- Coordinating the services rendered by other departments in the interest of effective management and patient welfare.
- Supervising the activities of professional subordinates in the bedside care of patients and the administration of medications and treatments on the assigned unit(s).
- Orienting new personnel and overseeing participation in related staff development or continued training and education.
- Performing a variety of personnel and unit management activities.

- Associate Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
- License:
- NYS Registered Nurse
Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
