Oneida Health is currently seeking a Full-time Speech Language Pathologist to work at our Rehabilitation and Extended Care Facility located in Oneida. This position is primarily working out of the Extended Care Rehab including Vent and Tracheostomy Units. There would also be additional coverage at the Oneida Health Hospital in the Medical Surgical, ICU, and Radiology departments.

What You’ll Be Great At:
- Diagnosing and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders with interest in dysphagia management and interest in cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation for geriatric populations.
- Demonstrating strong interpersonal communication skills through collaborating as an effective and efficient member of the inter-professional team.
- Maintaining appropriate documentation of all speech therapy evaluations, re-evaluations, progress notes, care plans, treatment notes, consultations, and discharge summaries.
- Shadowing and/or training for dysphagia management in Vent and Tracheostomy Unit patients as needed.

Qualifications
Your Essential Qualifications:
- Education:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- License/Certification:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence
- NYS Speech Language Pathology Licensure
- VitalStimÒ Certification (Preferred)
[Clinical Fellow applications will be considered as long as NYS Provisional Licensure is current.]
Salary : $36 - $47
