Summary :
This position will perform mid-level installation, upgrades, and maintenance of a wide range of network systems including, cloud computing technologies, directory services, server operating system, databases, SAN storage and server virtualization platforms under the guidance of the System Administrators. The position requires experience in the areas of project management, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity planning and problem resolution. This position is expected to work as a member of the Network Services team to provide reliable network services to the customers of the DTS Department while assisting the development of junior staff. The incumbent will possess a background in delivering network services and support in a customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities :
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining virtual servers, operating systems, and software.
- Managing and maintaining backups and disaster recovery plans.
- Managing and maintaining on-premises Active Directory.
- Managing and monitoring storage systems and resources.
- Managing and maintaining the automation of routine tasks.
- Managing and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems.
- Configuring and managing Azure Active Directory, including authentication and authorization.
- Managing and maintaining user accounts and licenses in Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online
- Configuring and managing Azure based services such as Azure AD, Azure AD Domain Services, Azure AD Connect, Azure AD Conditional Access.
- Managing and maintaining documentation of the IT (Information Technology) infrastructure.
- Assist Tribal Business Units in meeting their goals through the creative use of technology.
- Performing regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implementing and maintaining security policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with IT team members to design and implement new server solutions.
- Providing technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
- Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
