We're seeking an experienced User Experience Design Director to lead our design team in creating innovative, user-centered digital products that drive business success. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for shaping the direction of our design strategy and mentoring a talented team of designers.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that span across product development, user research, and design implementation. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and content design, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of user-centric products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design team in developing innovative digital products that meet business objectives
- Mentor and guide junior designers to improve their skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product strategy and ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors to inform design decisions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our design capabilities
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in product design or related fields
- 6 years of leadership experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership
- Deep experience shipping products across platforms and geos as a designer and coaching others through it
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects demonstrating your design process, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
