Safely perform and direct all operating functions of a cryogenic plant Supervise and manage plant operators and work closely with the Maintenance Foreman, I&E Foreman, and Administrative Assistant to achieve the business objective and goals. Maintain compliance on safety, PSM, and environmental regulations.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Accurate measurement of gas into and out of the facilities
- Cost control of plant operations and maintenance
- Proper operation and maintenance of facilities in accordance with Company procedures/policies and PSM regulations and safety
- Responsible for budgeting of operating expenses (OPEX) as well as capital projects (CAPEX)
- Coordinate, supervise, and inspect the construction of minor projects
- Responsible for the daily reporting of volumes, environmental reporting, troubleshooting and runtime of the facility
- Perform duties independently with minimal supervision, subject to being on call
- Knowledge and/or experience with natural gas plant, PSM guidelines and DOT regulations
- High School diploma or GED, required
- 5 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance
- 2 – 5 years supervisory or lead experience, preferably in an operations role; proven leadership skills
- Knowledge in operating and maintaining NGL fractionating facilities, not required
- Must have people skills and task prioritizing skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be capable of physical duties which require climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching and lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds
- Must be capable of performing outdoor activities in sometimes harsh weather conditions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and subject to random DOT drug screening
- None required
- Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
