As needed, this role will support affiliate practices in the development, implementation, and management of their compliance programs. The Compliance Director will be expected to use critical thinking, sound judgment and clear communication when interacting with their team and business stakeholders in the execution of compliance related activities.

The Compliance Director, Ancillary Services and Practice Support will report to OneOncology’s Compliance Department Leadership. The Compliance Director will be expected to use critical thinking, sound judgment and clear communication when interacting with their team and business stakeholders in the execution of compliance related activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop compliance programs for OneOncology and United Urology Group ancillary business service lines that align with the seven elements of an effective compliance program.
- Implement and monitor controls and activities across platforms, including the implementation of new activities as guidance emerges.
- Interact with and provide guidance to ancillary service line employees as it relates to key compliance initiatives, leading regulatory practices, and programmatic opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and oversee efforts to analyze data, trends, and workflows and make recommendations on risk mitigation, and improved efficiencies.
- Provide subject matter expertise on regulatory healthcare compliance matters to practices.
- Provide regulatory support for practices at various stages including due diligence, on boarding, and ongoing maintenance.
- Provide support and guidance to designated compliance leader(s) at each OneOncology and United Urology Group practice.
- Generate and create reports on compliance activity for Practice leadership, and respective governing boards, as requested.
- Assist ancillary service lines and practices with the development and maintenance of policies accounting for applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships between compliance, legal, and operations at the corporate and practice level to ensure processes are consistently applied, and compliance related efforts are coordinated.
- Maintain up to date regulatory knowledge of applicable federal and state healthcare compliance and privacy laws and accreditation standards (e.g., ACHC).
- All other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
- Established Compliance professional in the physician practice or health care industries with experience in oncology or urology preferred.
- Ability to manage, prioritize and multi-task various responsibilities.
- Ability to deliver information in a digestible format at various levels.
- Strong communications skills (verbal/written/listening).
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite, compliance/legal tracking, and research systems.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage complex problems, maintain a high level of confidentiality, require minimal direction and ability to work within a team environment.
- Experience managing a team in a remote setting.
- Drive Mission, Vision, and Culture of Compliance with both the Compliance team, and the broader organization.
- MA/MS at a minimum; certifications in healthcare compliance and experience can be substituted for educational requirements.
- 10 years of experience in healthcare Compliance.
- Experience in oncology and / or urology is strongly preferred.
- Certifications in Compliance and/or Privacy are strongly preferred.
- Up to 20% travel, at a minimum, is required.
