HR Coordinator
Location : Marietta, GA
Salary range : $45K - $50K DOE
Job Overview : The HR Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the human resources department. This role involves providing administrative support across various HR functions, including recordkeeping, benefits administration, employee relations, recruitment, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
The primary duties include, but are not limited to :
- Administering health and welfare benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations, while ensuring accurate recordkeeping and payroll updates.
- Providing employee support by responding to inquiries and addressing HR-related requests.
- Handling Form I-9 compliance, verifying documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assisting with new hire onboarding, including background checks and orientation processes.
- Conducting audits of benefits or HR programs and recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Assisting with employee terminations and exit processes.
- Supporting the performance review cycle and recruitment activities.
- Scheduling interviews and meetings as requested.
- Performing general clerical duties such as copying, scanning, mailing, and filing documents.
- Maintaining office supply inventory and placing orders when needed.
- Preparing and organizing employee files and HR records.
- Compiling monthly headcount reports and updating organizational charts.
- Participating in safety committee meetings and managing safety-related tasks.
- Assisting with travel arrangements, including hotel and car bookings for visitors or staff.
- Supporting company events and assisting with facility-related tasks.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Promoting workplace values such as customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
