POSITION PURPOSE
This position is responsible for the overall management and successful execution of Capital works projects within North America. The focus will be on Strategic planning and oversight, Contract Administration, Risk mitigation, WHS Compliance and Program/Portfolio Management, with minimal involvement in day-to-day site operations.
Portfolio includes 36 existing locations with approximately half scheduled for a major renovation or New Build within the next 1-4 years. Including building and managing a design and construction team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Administrative Tasks (Will be hiring an APM)
- Producing reports and presentations.
- Execution and delegation of Global and Regional Projects
- Maintaining Global Dashboard
- Develop, review, and manage contracts for projects within North America.·
- Ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor contract performance.
- Prepare and issue tender documents.
- Evaluate bids and negotiate terms with contractors.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing project documentation.
- Planning and FP&A
- Identify and mitigate contract-related risks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety/WHS regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts, including amendments and variations.
- Prepare regular reports on contract performance, project progress, and financial status for senior management.
- Develop detailed documentation for each phase of the contract lifecycle, from initiation to close-out.
- Create comprehensive contract summaries and ensure all project stakeholders have access to relevant contract information.
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all contract-related materials
- Maintain a robust document control system to track the status of contracts, amendments, and correspondence.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g. Premier Construction)
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards in the region
- Ability to travel within North America and Caribbean as required
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in contract management
- Preferred Certification in PMP, CM and FMP.
