OneSparQ is looking for an Oracle Database Administrator for a company located in Alpharetta, GA.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain Oracle database in AWS, along with MS SQL Server and Postgres databases.
- Optimize query and storage performance across Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres.
- Implement and manage backup and recovery processes for all database systems.
- Perform performance tuning and query optimization and analyze and resolve database issues.
- Provide on call support.
Required Skills:
- 3 years of experience with Oracle in an AWS environment. (5 years if no relevant degree.)
- Hands-on expertise in database performance tuning and query optimization.
- Strong knowledge of backup and recovery strategies and implementation.
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for database issues.
Additional Skills:
- Experience with Postgres and MS SQL in AWS environments.
- BA or Masters in computer science or relative.
- Previously worked in the fintech industry.
