What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Associate position at OneVesta Property Management?
A qualified candidate will have bookkeeping and ideally some property management experience. Must be capable of interacting with vendors, managers and clients in a professional manner.
The candidate will work closely with our Controller and maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, general ledgers and payments.
Duties:
* Processing of vendor invoices.
* Account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
* Maintains GL accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
* Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
* Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
* Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
* Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements, filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
* Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Education:
Associates degree is a must, bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (Preferred)
- Accounts payable: 1 year (Preferred)
- Experience is a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
