Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in rig operations or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Experience working in the oil field industry.
- Additional training in quality control processes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pumps, butterfly valves, and downhole equipment.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all systems meet safety and operational standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems and electronic controls.
- Assist in the painting and upkeep of rig equipment to prevent corrosion and wear.
- Collaborate with team members to implement improvements in rig operations and maintenance procedures.
Skills:
The required skills in pumps, butterfly valves, and downhole systems are essential for the daily maintenance and troubleshooting of rig equipment. Proficiency in quality control ensures that all operations adhere to safety and performance standards, which is critical in the oil field environment.
