About the Role:
The Social Media & Content associate at Bosuns Marine will play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence and engaging with our community. This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand's goals and values. The successful candidate will create compelling content that resonates with our audience, driving engagement and brand loyalty. They will be responsible for our online inventory presence, ensuring photos and videos are compelling and dynamic capturing the attention of our desired customers. Additionally, this role involves analyzing performance metrics to refine strategies and ensure maximum impact. Ultimately, the Social Media & Content associate will enhance our visibility and reputation in the marine industry through innovative and effective digital communication. Associate will also be responsible for handling incoming calls, and greeting customers as they arrive.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, and a welcoming personality.
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the marine industry or a related field.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with the company's marketing objectives.
- Create, curate, and manage published content across various social media platforms.
- Own and ensure all inventory is represented on line timely and with dynamic photos and videos.
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers and customers on social media channels.
- Analyze social media metrics and performance to inform content strategy and improve engagement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure brand consistency and support marketing campaigns.
- Answer incoming calls, and greet walk in customers immediately with a friendly and professional attitude.
