POSITION SUMMARY
Rambo Marine offers an upbeat and fun environment selling and servicing high end recreational boats. We primarily cater to local customers here on Smith Lake but also have the occasional opportunities to do business and establish relationships with clients from all over the country. Business Managers are responsible for the business aspect of the sale at their OneWater store. They ensure the logistics of each sale are completed in an organized, timely, and profitable manner. They are eager to communicate with customers about back end products we offer and secure them the best possible approval terms for each and every deal. They are also responsible for book keeping, check/cash deposits, and filing all required documents in an organized manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures all deal paperwork is properly prepared and executed based on unit type, funding is secured, ownership transfers completed and files digitally uploaded in a timely manner.
- Execute closing with customer while presenting any/all available Extended Service Products for maximum term via a Menu Presentation. Must diligently overcome objections in order to secure the sale of products.
- Analyze customer’s credit and financial profile in order to secure optimal loan approval terms.
- Maintains effective communication with customer throughout deal process while ensuring customer satisfaction and deal profitability.
- Maintains constant communication and scheduling with Sales and Service Department while managing accurate closing dates.
- Continues to train and develop knowledge and sales proficiency in Lender Programs and Extended Service Products.
- Ensure adherence to local store’s compliance requirements relating to tax laws, sensitive data and documents, and vessel ownership transfers.
SKILLS
- The position requires someone who is customer centric, sales focused, attentive to detail, and able to multitask throughout the transaction.
- Specific skills required are the following:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Strong mathematical and finance skills
- Knowledge of financial, accounting and credit compliance requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced negotiation and closing skills to increase margins and profitability
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in Sales and Finance, in a related industry, is beneficial but not required
- Supervisory and management experience is also beneficial
- Computer Knowledge
- Degree or Equal Experience
