Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence and personal growth.
- Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with families and care teams.
- Monitor and document patient progress, including observations of behavior and health status.
- Provide support in meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met.
- Educate individuals on their rights and advocate for their needs within the community.
- Administer first aid as necessary and maintain a safe environment for all clients.
- Facilitate social interactions and community engagement opportunities for individuals.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
