Behavioral Support Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and delivery of evidence based behavioral support strategies for our individuals with IDD'S by assessing their needs, developing personalized behavior plans, training staff on intervention techniques, and monitoring progress to ensure positive behavioral outcomes for individuals with complex behaviors. Behavioral Support Manager will also lead and coordinate a team of behavior support specialists to effectively address diverse needs and promote overall well being!
Responsibilities:
*Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify individuals needs, triggers, and functional behavior analysis
*Develop individual BSP'S with specific goals, strategies and measurable outcomes
*Collaborate with families and therapists to gather information and ensure plan alignment
*Train staff on evidence based behavioral interventions, including positive reinforcements, crisis management techniques, and de-escalation strategies
*Monitor staff performance and address any concerns related to behavioral support delivery
*Provide ongoing supervision to BSS's to ensure consistent implementation of BSP's
Qualifications:
*Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Behavioral Science
*Certified Behavioral Specialist
*Extensive experience working with individuals with complex behavioral needs across various settings
*Strong understanding of evidence based behavioral interventions
*Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving
*Ability to lead and manage a team of BSS's
