Location: Cumberland, Perry, and Dauphin

Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

THIS IS A MANAGEMENT LEVEL POSITION

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist participants with IDD and/or Autism in developing goals and strategies, which best service each individual according to their Individual Support Plan (ISP).
• Manages and advocates for a caseload of participants and directly supervises all Direct Support Staff.
• Trains Direct Support Staff on agency policy, the implementation of ISPs, and on behavioral management techniques.
• Assists the consumer with attaining goals in order to have positive outcomes as described in the individual’s ISP.
• Monitor individuals’ progress and service delivery through on-site visits and data collection.
• Travels to and participates in monthly team meetings, ISP meetings, Annual Review Updates, and other team meetings as necessary.
• Respects the autonomy and right to confidentiality of all consumers and families.
• Produces accurate documentation of the services. Documents care provided and response of the consumer/family. Submits time sheets and all other documentation in a timely manner.
• Advocates for changes in service(s) as necessary.
• Provides coverage in emergency and/or crisis situations.
• Performs all duties in an ethical manner and in compliance with local, State and Federal laws, Medicare/Medicaid regulations and established personnel policies and procedures, including confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
• Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned.

Knowledge and Experience.

MUST meet one of the four requirements for position

A high school diploma or general education development certificate and 6 years work experience working directly with persons with an intellectual disability and/or autism.

An associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years work experience working directly with persons with an intellectual disability and/or autism.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years work experience working directly with persons an intellectual disability and/or autism.

A master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year work experience working directly with persons with an intellectual disability and/or autism.
