As a Direct Support Professional at OneWell Health Care, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities. Located in the United States, this position involves working closely with clients to provide compassionate care and support tailored to their specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of personalized care plans.
- Monitor patient health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining confidentiality.
- Support clients in achieving their personal goals and fostering independence.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and skill development.
- Administer CPR and first aid as needed in emergency situations.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and families.
- Certification in CPR and first aid is required.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and patient care best practices.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is a plus.
