We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to lead the transformation and enhancement of our global network infrastructure. This individual will design and implement scalable, high-performance networks while streamlining operations and leveraging automation tools to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Network Architecture Design & Upgrades

• Lead the redesign and modernization of data center network architecture for optimized performance, resilience, and automation.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement advanced solutions tailored to business needs.

Technology Evaluation & Deployment

• Assess and deploy state-of-the-art enterprise networking technologies, including but not limited to Cisco, Arista, and Fortinet.
• Optimize global network connectivity through private VPLS/eVPN links across data centers, offices, and cloud providers.

Network Security Framework:

• Design and manage a robust security framework encompassing data centers, global offices, cloud environments, and third-party hosting providers.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

Monitoring & Observability:

• Develop actionable monitoring and observability frameworks using tools such as Datadog and vendor-specific solutions to ensure network health and performance.
• Provide deep packet analysis to troubleshoot complex routing and performance issues.

Automation & CI/CD Integration:

• Integrate modern infrastructure CI/CD practices, leveraging tools such as Git for version control.
• Implement automation using Ansible, Terraform, and Python to streamline network operations.

Operational Efficiency & ITSM Collaboration:

• Work with ITSM tools to manage workflows, ensure efficient communication, and maintain transparency through detailed ticket updates.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• A minimum of 8 years in network engineering or management roles.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, and Fortinet technologies.

Skills:

• Strong expertise in private VPLS/eVPN configurations and global connectivity solutions.
• Experience with packet capturing and analytic setups, preferably utilizing Arista platform
• Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and tools like Git.
• Working knowledge of network observability tools (e.g., Datadog).
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Python is highly desirable.

Education:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to provide detailed and actionable updates via ITSM ticketing systems.

The salary range for this role is $170,000.00 to $200,000.00 depending on relevant experience.
