Position Title: Scrum Master Agile Lead
Location: Hybrid*: Remote Onsite travel engagements to be conducted at Martinsburg, WV; Kearneysville, WV; Washington, DC

Job Summary:
The Scrum Master will lead IT Agile teams in modernizing applications to support the USCG statutory responsibility to issue Merchant Mariner Credentials and enhance Mariner Credentialing Program (MCP) processes.
Education and Experience:
- Certified Scrum Master
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading IT Agile teams
Essential Duties:
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Guiding the team in using Agile methodologies and Scrum practices effectively.
- Facilitating meetings to include organizing and leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identifying and removing blockers that hinder the team's progress.
- Assisting the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and ensuring clear communication of requirements.
- Encouraging collaboration and communication within the team and with stakeholders.
- Helping the team reflect on their processes and practices to continuously improve their performance.
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
