Onin Staffing is currently hiring for fulltime Production, Warehouse, and Assembly Workers in the Elizabethtown, KY area. These are contract-to-hire positions with a great opportunity to become part of a thriving company with numerous opportunities for advancement.
Every new Teammate starts with a mentor to assure that you understand your responsibilities, work activities as well as all the safety measures in place. A majority of the work as a Production worker will involve placing windshields into the wash area and then onto conveyor belt, perform quality checks on product, throw away paper off of packaging, and stack windshields into trays.
Duties for Production, Warehouse, and Assembly Workers:
- Loading and unloading windshields for wash.
- Loading windshields onto conveyor belt.
- Throwing away paper from product.
- Assuring quality of product.
- Pulling bad product.
- Must be able to rotate on line if needed
The environment is very fast paced and is not climate controlled. Must be a quick learner, fast paced, willing to rotate if needed, a team player and motivated. You will be working with different types of windshields: lamination, tempered and EVA.
Work Experience
The Preferred Candidate Might Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior manufacturing experience (desired, but not required).
- Positive outlook while working through obstacles.
- Self-starter, high level of initiative.
- Detail oriented.
- Good time management skills
- Good communication skills – written, verbal, active listening.
