What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable position at Onin Staffing?
This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced accounts receivable professional seeking temporary, full-time work playing a key role in coordinating accounts receivable operations and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
3 Month Temporary Assignment
Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and send out invoices promptly.
- Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments received.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies and issues.
- Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, or mail to clarify any discrepancies or for collection purposes.
- Assist with month-end closing of the accounts receivable ledger.
- Report on the status of outstanding balances and collection efforts for upper management.
Work Experience
The preferred candidate:
- Proven working experience of 2 years in accounts receivable.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
