Excellent opportunity with an industry leader looking for the best and brightest in Plant Operator, to join a growing team!
- Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, with 30 minute lunch break and occasional early morning start or late evening finish times
- Hourly Pay: $18-$22/hr
What you'll do as a Plant Operator:
- Confirm BOLs (Bill of Ladings) vs. purchase order, unload material, log amount of product received, when, and from whom.
- Assist with raw material inventory readings and control
- Load description sheet showing product & quantity loaded, where and to whom it will be delivered, delivery tickets, inventory depletion log entry confirming gallons leaving the plant.
- Batch finished products from Bills of Materials (batch tickets)
- Load finished product for delivery to customer sites by pumping & metering liquid product from plant storage tanks into totes or semi tanker trucks.
- Recover signed customer delivery receipts and distribute them internally to the proper team members, upon return of delivery truck .
- Wash delivery truck, clean plant, repair pumps & meters as needed
Work Experience
The Preferred Candidate Might Have:
- Current driver’s license and good driving record
- 1 year of Sit Down Forklift operating experience required
- Basic understanding of computers, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
- Work in weather conditions that may be adverse (hot/cold/rain)
- Lift 50 lbs unassisted, climb ladders, and work/stand on concrete plant floors for extended periods.
