What You'll Do as an Extrusion Operator:
- Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines to produce high-quality plastic products.
- Measure and load pelletized, powdered, or liquid additives into machine hoppers for mixing.
- Inspect and maintain quality standards throughout the production process.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, including disassembly and cleaning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process issues as they arise.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and workplace guidelines.
Work Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience required.
- Experience in plastics extrusion techniques is preferred.
- Ability to read gauges, dials, and indicators to ensure proper machine operation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for machine setup and adjustments.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus (training available)
- Proficiency in using hand tools for maintenance and repairs.
- Requires frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, crouching, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs independently or heavier items with team assistance.
