Tosaf has 21 production facilities around the world; 4 of them within North America. Tosaf’s extensive North American infrastructure includes production facilities strategically positioned across the United States, emphasizing manufacturing flexibility with complete and full production lines for a variety of additives and colors that transform raw materials into smart products with customized features and capabilities.

With large investment within the 4 production plants, located in Charlotte NC, Dallas TX, West Unity OH, and the most recent plant in Houston TX the company boosted its production capacity in the US by 40% in 2023. These investments involve the installation of new extruder lines at four locations, the implementation of advanced automation and control systems, and the launch of a newly commissioned lab for conducting trials for both company and customer purposes. The newly added lines incorporate cutting-edge technology for additives production, with energy and water systems designed to minimize environmental impact.

We are looking for extrusion machine operators for 1st and 2nd shift that will assist in setting up and operating machinery in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements.

• First shift is Monday thru Friday from 7am to 3:30pm
• Second shift is Monday thru Thursday 3pm to 1:30am

* Set up machines according to blueprints

* Maintain requested good quality production levels.

* Insert, measure and adding materials to machines

* Adjust machine settings for temperature, speed and feed rates, and cycle times

* Maintain production area and equipment by completing preventative maintenance and cleaning requirements.

* Work safely with equipment

* Prepare and package finished products

* Update the documentation

You have experience in the plastic industry and a high school diploma or equivalent. You are used to work in a 2-shift-system (including night shift). You are a team player and you are used to work with people of different origins and religions. You are autonomous, you can manage your own priorities. You are used to work following the instruction of your supervisor with good concentration skills to ensure product quality and worker safety. Last but not least, good mechanical aptitude and good math skills complete the profile.
