What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Onin Staffing?
Onin Staffing is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators for the 2nd shift.
Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and work with limited supervision setting up and operating Press Brake to bend, form and straighten metal stock to blueprint or specifications.
- PAY RATE: $19.75
- HOURS: 2:30-11:00pm
- WEEKLY PAY
Duties and Functions:
- Set up and operate all machine types in the Brake Department.
- Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.
- Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations.
- Perform clerical and labor reporting duties.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred.
- Blueprint reading
- Good math skills
- must pass Math & measuring test.
- Amanda and Trumpf Brake experience a plus.
- Efficient production
- Safety standards
