Mig Welder (Direct Hire)

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Hours - Mon - Fri, 7am -5pm

Job Description:

As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding production parts within the range of 16 gauge to 1 ½ inch plate. You will work in a dynamic, one-piece flow, lean production atmosphere, ensuring high-quality welds and meeting production schedules.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Perform high-quality MIG welds to meet engineering specifications.
• Meet production targets and schedules for each weldment.
• Work effectively in a Lean Manufacturing, single-piece flow environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and layout and fit parts manually.
• Utilize measuring tools to maintain part tolerances.
• Operate overhead hoists for material handling.
• Cross-train and assist in other departments as needed.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven MIG welding experience.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools for welding applications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong math skills.
• Experience in steel handling and rigging.
