What You'll Do as a Plating Operator:
- Set-up and operate automated plating equipment to ensure high-quality production
- Monitor and adjust chemical levels for optimal performance
- Perform basic arithmetic calculations to measure and mix solutions
- Read and interpret alpha-numeric part numbers for accurate processing
- Inspect finished products to meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work with a team to keep operations running smoothly
Work Experience
What a Preferred Candidate Will Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous plating, manufacturing, or machine operating experience is a plus
- Comfortable working with chemicals and following proper safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret alpha-numeric part numbers accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring and adjusting chemical mixtures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Team player attitude with a great work ethic
