What You'll Do as: Turret Operator
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and Efficient Operation:
- Operate a turret truck to pick, pull, and move pallets and materials within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Retrieve items from shelves, racks, or storage areas and prepare them for shipment or placement in other locations.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by using RF scanners or other inventory control systems.
- Loading and Unloading:
- Load and unload trailers, containers, or trucks with pallets and materials.
- Material Handling:
- Place materials on pallets, organize pallets, and ensure they are stacked correctly and securely.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Inspect material handling equipment (MHE) and report any maintenance or repair issues.
- Housekeeping:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping trailers and picking up trash.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure the accuracy of picks, pulls, and movements, and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Other Duties:
- May perform other duties as assigned, such as labeling, replenishing stock, or assisting other warehouse personnel.

Work Experience
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience operating turret trucks or other material handling equipment is highly desirable.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry materials, and operate equipment safely.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain a high level of accuracy in picking and moving materials.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other warehouse personnel.
- Safety Consciousness: Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory control systems and procedures.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
This position may require access to export-controlled technical data. Assignment is contingent upon the ability to obtain all necessary export authorization.
