Oilfield Combustion Technician/Midland Tx

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technician to join our team. DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT EXPERIENCE!!!!The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oilfield flare stacks, enclosed vapor combustors, heater treater. With the ability to problem solve and come up with solutions. The Technician will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, from repairs, preventive maintenance, and retrofit existing combustion equipment. Assist in manufacturing combustion equipment. The successful applicant will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of oilfield combustion equipment. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and versatile individual.

Duties:

- Work is performed on Customer sites through out the Permian basin. Must be willing to travel from site to site.
- Perform routine electrical (low voltage) and mechanical maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting existing and new combustion equipment
- Fabricate and weld parts and components as needed.
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and repairing facilities and equipment.

-Basic experience in Industrial Wiring, Terminating components, Motor Controls, PLCs.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues.

-Technician may perform tasks while on manlift at max heights of 60ft.

-Keeps Company truck clean and ensures all required maintenance is performed.

-Work with pneumatic valve, electric actuators , and process valves.

- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, mentoring and guiding less experienced team members as needed.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors, both verbally and in writing.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

-Preform daily reports. Proficient in Microsoft office and adobe PDF

-Attention to detail In all aspects of job duties.

Qualifications:

-Must live in with in 60 miles of Midland/Odessa Tx
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on oilfield combustion equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to fabricate and weld If needed.
- Familiarity with Burner Management Systems.

-Fundamentals of Electronics

-Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

-Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet customer requirements.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to work outdoors. Position is 80% outside environment. Worker is subjected to weather elements and must be accustomed to performing tasks in potentially adverse conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
- English language proficiency for effective communication.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
