Responsibilities and Duties
This position requires all traditional Bartender responsibilities with the added requirement to assist the front desk as needed. Responsible for preparing and serving drinks to customers. Able to mix and match ingredients in order to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance with guests needs and expectations. Supports front desk staff in checking in/out guests, answering phones, and responding to guests needs. The purpose of this position is to interact with hotel and lounge guests to assure they have an excellent experience.
- Prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to order using proper portions and ingredients for guests.
- Operates computer, gives change, distributes checks, and keeps accurate record of change transactions.
- Is trained in the Alcohol Awareness Program and assists in ensuring all servers have received such training.
- Maintains cleanliness behind the bar, storage space, and equipment.
- Maintains health and sanitation standards.
- Is able to assist the front desk with checking in and out guests, making reservations, and answering phones as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Food service experience desired.
