We are currently looking for an Assistant General Manager at our brand new hotel in downtown West Chester!

Responsibilities and Duties
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel and provides support to the General Manager. Directs and coordinates hotel activities to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize full potential with a balanced focus on hotels missing, guests, employees, and owners satisfaction.
- Provides training to staff and department heads.
- Act as the hotels public relations director and promote the property within the hotel industry, local community, and trade associations.
- Assist General Manager in wage scale surveys and ensure employee wages are followed by the company and industry salary guidelines.
- Monitor maintenance progress and furniture, furnishings, and equipment conditions and provide status reports to the General Manager.
- Audits par stock in all areas to make sure that all required hotel supplies are ordered and stocked in advance of need.
- Ensure hotel staff is provided with uniforms and name tags and upholds company and brand grooming standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of hotel experience required.
- Food and Beverage experience
- A college degree, diploma in hotel management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous hotel-related experience desired.
- Experience in financial accounting, personnel supervision and problem resolution is strongly desired.
- Excellent computer system skills preferred
