Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of educational programs, including curriculum design and delivery.
- Manage the budget for educational programs, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
- Recruit, hire, and train faculty and staff to support educational initiatives.
- Lead the educational department and provide strategic direction to achieve institutional goals.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and deliver educational programs that meet the needs of students.
- Mentor and coach instructors to improve teaching practices and enhance student outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and national educational organizations to stay informed about best practices and trends in education.
- Monitor and evaluate educational programs to ensure that they meet academic standards and align with institutional goals.
- Make recommendations to the administration on educational policy and strategic initiatives.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Master's degree in Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience working in higher education teaching and leading educational programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university with a Master's degree and New York State permanent Teacher certification and either:
A. Possession of a New York State Certificate of Advanced Study; or,
B. Six (6) years of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a public school as a certified teacher; or,
C. Four (4) years of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working as a certified teacher in a detention center.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,721.00 per year
