Your Role :
Prepare account reconciliationsCoordinate payroll processing with 3rd party payroll providersDevelops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and proceduresMaintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactionsBalances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entriesBalances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entriesMaintains historical records by filing documentsPrepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trendsComplies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising clients and management on needed actionsPrepares general ledger entriesAnswers accounting and financial questions by researching dataIdentify and document opportunities to improve processes and productivity to ensure that we meet our goal of superior customer supportProtects clients’ operations by keeping financial information and plans confidentialMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societiesCarry out special projects and other duties as assignedYour Skills and Abilities :
Meticulous attention to detailA team player with a positive attitude & strong client focusAbility to be a dynamic leader and deal with changing requirements and prioritiesStrong problem-solving skills, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skillsExceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skillsAbility to communicate with all levels of Executive / Senior staff and clientsUnderstanding of accounting theoryStrong experience using Microsoft Office Suite, proficiency in Excel preferredKnowledge of financial, accounting, and management software such as QuickBooks, Fathom, PlanGuru, Syft, Salesforce, and Front desirableYour Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance1 years of accounting experience, combination of industry and public accounting, preferredExperience utilizing data analytics and financial modeling software for forecasting, desirableKnowledge of finance, accounting, and cost control principles, including generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)How to Apply :
